Clarose's name is an acronym which stands for Creative, Loveable, Active, Reliable, Original, Serene, and Energetic. Those 7 words describe Clarose as closely as possible.

Before Clarose, Sarah had owned several different websites in the past. Each one was Neopets Related, but they were very different in terms of quality. The first site she owned was FyoraNeo, which was the most popular site. There was a very unfortunate incident which she has now learned from. Sarah attempted to own many other sites, but she never could get them up and running smoothly. Sar took a break from the website owning business because her personal life got in the way of things.

After a while, Clarose came into existence. Sar had trouble keeping Clarose active at first and shut it down for a revamp. Then she reopened it and tried again. This time, Clarose was active, but no one visited the small site. So Sar took yet another break of website owning and on April 15th, 2009 she started working on her beloved site yet again. Clarose was worked on daily up until June 18th, when Sarah began on her vacation excursion to 3 different places in 3 different states all within several weeks. During this time, she occasionally worked on Clarose between vacations. Clarose was originally supposed to open July 5th, after Family Camp. However, Clarose didn't officially open until August 1st due to another camping trip that was not known until the day she was going.
